Shipping and Handling

Unless otherwise stated on our web site buyers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges.

Some Suggested delivery methods to your home or business are:

The United Parcel Service (UPS) is one option for the delivery of your package. Shipping rates are available at www.ups.com. Orders to P.O. Boxes can not be shipped via UPS and must be shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Shipping rates are available at www.usps.com. Weight and size restrictions may apply.

Estimated UPS delivery time within the US is 3 to 7 business days from the time the order is processed.

Handling:

Items requiring forklift assistance, will be subject to loading fees. $ 25.00 up to the first 1,000 lbs. and  $ 25.00 per 1,000 lbs. thereafter.

examples:

          up to 1,000 lbs.     =     $ 25.00
     1,001 to 2,000 lbs.     =     $ 50.00
     2,001 to 3,000 lbs.     =     $ 75.00

and so on.

All Packing Charges Include The Loading Fee.



Orders that weigh over 149 lbs. must be shipped via freight carrier.

A few suggested carriers that will estimate shipping charges for your shipment are:

    Freightquote.com ( www.freightquote.com)
    Yellow Transportation (www.yellowfreight.com)
    GI Trucking Company (www.gitrucking.com)
    Ocean World Transport.

All estimates are subject to change depending upon drop-off location. Carriers will assess an extra charge if delivery is made to a residential area and/or if the services of a lift gate are required.

Packing, Wood crating and Palletizing charges will be determined according to the size and weight of the item.

We may make our own skids, pallets and crates. Our skids, pallets and crates are made to ensure your equipment arrives safely.


Packing, Skidding, Crating and/or Palletizing charges mostly range from $25.00 to $100.00.

We recommend Full crating when using large freight carriers, costs mostly ranges from $75.00 to $400.00.

If you arrange your own freight, please address any concerns or complaints to the freight company in question. We can assist with documentation but any claims must be initiated by you.

Worldwide Packing

DHL Worldwide Express (www.dhl.com) ships packages abroad. Contact them to arrange delivery of your international order.

All of our Wooden Skids, Crates, Boxes and Pallets which are to be used for Export are certified to meet export requirements.

For purchases that require special transportation equipment, such as a flat bed trucking, open container, or oversized trailer, make arrangements with Breakheart Tool (603) 286-8762. Please allow 24 hours to receive a quote for transportation rates.

We have a Local (bonded and insured) Rigging and Transport Company available, ask for a quote.

Buyers who wish to use their own FedEx and UPS accounts may include their account number with payment or e-mail us at customerservice@breakhearttool.com.


Fragile and expensive equipment may require special handling to ensure its safe delivery. Charges for packing, crating, and palletizing will be determined according to item size and weight.
